Anne Rushing is an artist and student studying glass at Centre College in Danville, KY. She got started in art and was originally interested in glass in her home town of Chattanooga, TN.

A lifelong interest in art has led Anne to study every area of art and craft that she was exposed to. Currently, glass is her passion and has been since she took her first gather in February 2005. She has learned basically everything she knows at Centre College under professor Stephen Rolfe Powell. Also, she has studied under Kait Rhoads at the Pilchuck Glass School during the summer of 2006, and has been accepted to take a course from Tobias Møhl at the Corning Museum of Glass in August 2006.
